Gerber A103020CP retainer nut. This nut is in chrome. It is used to help hold the cartridge in. The larger end of the retainer net has a set of internal thread that allow the nut to thread into the valve around the cartridge. The outer diameter at the threaded end measures approximately 1 3/4 inches. The outer diameter at the smaller end is roughly 1 1/2 inches.
