Simmons 8845-4 stainless steel pump rod. This rod is for a 4 foot bury hydrant, and will be about 73 1/4 overall length. This does not come with the plunger. The outer diameter of the pump rod is roughly 3/4 of an inch. The pump rod is the long rod that extends into the ground, and the plunger threads onto the end of it. The 8845-4 is designed for the Simmons hydrant models 800, and 4800.
